We worked with ‘Make Shift’ to support their already existing sites, POP Brixton and Peckham Levels and to develop and deliver their third site ‘Hackney Bridge’; a long-term meanwhile scheme in Hackney Wick. This was a mixed use scheme that provided affordable work space, co-work, creative studios, serviced offices, light industrial, retail, cafés, food hall, bars, restaurants, events space and public realm; all with a core focus on providing maximum social value.

We proposed and executed a number of projects across the scheme including: public consultation and the forming of a steering group; neighbourhood research and drafting the theory of change; tenant curation; design and delivery of a food hall; markets, events and activations including screening EURO 2020; public artworks; a community garden; branding and marketing strategies; design and delivery of the wayfinding and signage and the delivery of a community café.
